Retro game consoles are nothing new, but the past couple years have seen big names joining in the fun. Earlier this year, Sony announced the PlayStation Classic: a PlayStation One-looking box, pre-loaded with a bunch of classic games.
Now, we know exactly which games will come in the vintage box. If you’re in the United States, you’ll be able to play:
- Battle Arena Toshinden
- Cool Boarders 2
- Destruction Derby
- Final Fantasy VII
- Grand Theft Auto
- Intelligent Qube
- Jumping Flash
- Metal Gear Solid
- Mr. Driller
- Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee
- Rayman
- Resident Evil Director’s Cut
- Revelations: Persona
- Ridge Racer Type 4
- Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
- Syphon Filter
- Tekken 3
- Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six
- Twisted Metal
- Wild Arms
The PlayStation Classic will cost $99 with release on December 3, 2018, meaning each game costs roughly $5. That’s a pretty good value, especially when you add in having a nice-looking console on your TV stand.
You can pre-order the PlayStation Classic directly from Sony.
